Meet the Founder <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hi, I’m Alexandra Pereira, the founder of Bridge to Belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My journey began through volunteering with refugee children, where I had the privilege of teaching English, Mathematics, and Science to children from diverse backgrounds. During this experience, I witnessed not only the challenges many children face but also their incredible resilience, determination, and capacity to succeed when given the right support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those experiences inspired me to create Bridge to Belonging – a charity dedicated to ensuring that no child feels alone or forgotten. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, build friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging within their community. I am passionate about advocating for equality, protecting children’s rights, and creating opportunities that empower young people to reach their full potential. Through Bridge to Belonging, I hope to bring together volunteers, schools, local organisations, and communities to create lasting positive change across the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
